UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) har dragit igång en kampanj, BillionTree Campaign, som går ut på att en miljard träd ska planteras nästa år. Vi alla kan hjälpa till, och anmäla våra planteringar till hemsidan. (Som kuriosa kan förresten nämnas att min husgud Rolf Edberg var en av initiativtagarna till bildandet av UNEP.)

Jag har alltid gillat träd, men på senare år har jag utvecklat ett mer…. andligt (i brist på bättre ord) förhållande till dem. Jag tilltalas av deras långsamhet och deras perspektiv på tillvaron. De skänker mig lugn.
